What is the Deuce Project?

The Deuce Project is a program that has been running on 89.1fm in Kalamazoo for about 10 years. We play music that contains references to sci-fi, science, mathematics, or anything in that vein. The songs' connection can be via the lyrics, band name, song name, album name, or sometimes just the general aesthetic of the song. Please enjoy. [Banner Image: 1947 by Aurorabomb]

Dreamside Maroon

The 12th Annual Independent Games Festival has announced 12 finalists for their Indie Games Challenge. Amongst the 12 games is one designed by one of our close personal friends here at the Deuce Project. Former WIDR DJ Matt Anderson's team is up for an award for their incredibly fun and interesting game entitled Dreamside Maroon.
Here is a look at this beautiful game:

If you want to download the game and enjoy growing your own vine to the moon here is the place to go: https://www.digipen.edu/?id=1170&proj=8715

Milky Way Tollbooth Music

Milky Way Tollbooth Music

320 kbps version [2:00:55] 290.3mb
V02 [Avg. 219kbps] version [2:00:55] 191.1mb

This is a fun one from back in November of 2009. I'm still trying to catch up from '09 and I apologize for the lack of updates. I'd like to take a minute and thank anyone out there who is listening to this show via these podcasts. Stepping "out of character" for a minute, this show is something I really enjoy doing and put a lot of work into. It means a lot when I hear from listeners who enjoy the show. I've heard from listeners in Russia to California and I just want to let you all know I really do appreciate it and it blows me away that anyone takes the time to listen to these mixes. Also, if you make music that would be fitting for the show, contact me at the listed e-mail address and I'm happy to review stuff.

That said... on with the show:

[One quick note: I realize now that I really butcher pronouncing "Director Feline" it wasn't until just now that I realized it is Feline like a cat, not Fellini. So, if nothing else, enjoy making fun of J-Unit 1 for that. Enjoy that laugh, as soon Earth will fall by my mechanical hand.]
