What is the Deuce Project?

The Deuce Project is a program that has been running on 89.1fm in Kalamazoo for about 10 years. We play music that contains references to sci-fi, science, mathematics, or anything in that vein. The songs' connection can be via the lyrics, band name, song name, album name, or sometimes just the general aesthetic of the song. Please enjoy. [Banner Image: 1947 by Aurorabomb]

Folding Spacetime is a Chore.

Folding Spacetime is a Chore.
2-Hour Podcast
Original Airdate: May 16, 2009

This episode had a couple hiccups that I attempted to clear up in editing. So, there are a couple times that I mention a "technical difficulty" that isn't on the podcast.

Also, The Deuce Project contributed a compilation of Moon Songs entitled "Moonboots for Moonbots" to the excellent Dr. Forrest's Cheeze Factory for their "Moon Week". The compilation is a zip of all the songs listed over there. I've said this before, but the factory is one of the coolest places on the web. You owe it to yourself to spend a bit of time over there.

Lastly, the find of the week for this episode is Captain Credible. The Captain is a Norwegian-based musician who uses homemade sound generators and pure creativity to make some interesting music. His creative efforts have not gone unnoticed by your future alien overlords here on Deuce Project Station. He will be given the opportunity to rule all of Norway once our invasion is complete. Get to know him via his myspace:
